After breakfast at the hotel, we set off to explore the cities of Girona and Figueras
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Valencia. Along the way, we will see the famous town of Sitges, a favorite among European society. Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. With the spirit of a typical Mediterranean town and its perfect location between mountains and sea, it has become one of the most popular destinations in recent years. Our tour will begin with the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral as we wander through its historic streets. Built on the remains of an old Romanesque and Gothic church, this cathedral dates back to the 17th century. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next stop will be the historic streets of Sitges. Within the medieval city center lies the Maricel Palace and Museum, a rare example of Modernism that is truly a paradise for art collectors. Right across from it stands the Cau Ferrat Museum, the former home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the Modernist movement in Catalonia. He played a major role in making the town so well-known by beginning to exhibit his paintings here in Sitges. After walking through the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which attracts thousands of people every year and is known for horror and fantasy films, takes place, and seeing the colorful houses and charming bars, we will continue our journey. Valencia is one of Spain's three largest cities by population and boasts the country's largest port. In this city where the old and new meet, both historic buildings and modern structures coexist. During our panoramic city tour, we will visit the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the historic Mercado Central market, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, we will have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast, we set off to explore Granada. Our first stop in Granada will be the Alhambra Palace, with its magnificent gardens and incredibly beautiful decorations. During our long palace tour, we will marvel at the wonders of the Nasrid Kingdom and, upon exiting the palace, embrace Granada from San Nicolas Hill. The city awaits us; we will wander through the narrow streets of Albacin, the old Arab quarter, listening to the pleasant melodies of street artists, visit the Morabutin Mosque, reach the main avenue Gran Via and Isabel de Catholica Square named after the queen. After a short coffee break, Granada Cathedral (viewed from outside) and the shopping areas await us. Guests who wish may stroll through the charming shops of this beautiful city, while others can enjoy famous tapas in the cafes located in the city's stunning squares, which greet you at every corner. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we depart for Seville. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour. We will see the Plaza de Espanya, Maria Luisa Park, and the Seville Cathedral, originally a mosque converted into a church with additions over centuries, now the largest cathedral in Spain, while its courtyard structures remain standing. Also included is the Giralda minaret, originally the mosque's minaret and later transformed into a bell tower. After the city tour, our next stop is the Sevilla Fashion Outlet. Following shopping and free time, we will regroup at the time set by the guide and proceed to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Seville.
After breakfast, we head towards Cordoba, the capital of Andalusia. Upon arrival in Cordoba, we see the Roman bridge and the Guadalquivir River, then enter the old city through the Roman gate. We visit the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the main masterpieces of Islamic architecture with 850 columns left by the Umayyads, which was partially converted into a cathedral after the fall of Andalusia but still retains its grandeur, the Jewish quarter, and the Synagogue of Cordoba built in Andalusian architectural style. After seeing statues of famous Andalusian emirs along the streets of Old Cordoba and the sections of the city walls that have survived to this day, we pass by the ancient libraries located along the Guadalquivir River and then depart for Toledo, one of the world's most beautiful historic medieval towns protected by UNESCO. In Toledo, there are the remains of an old mosque upon which the Toledo Cathedral was built, the historic streets of Toledo, and many works by the famous painter El Greco, who is synonymous with Toledo. At the end of the tour, we head to Madrid. Arrival in Madrid, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we begin our city tour of Madrid. The sights to visit include, in order; Gran Via street, Plaza de España, Don Quixote monument, Pyramids, Royal Palace (exterior view), ruins of the Great Mosque of Madrid, Plaza Mayor square, Puerto del Sol square, free time afterwards Paseo de la Castellana street, Cibeles monument, and Real Madrid stadium.
